How To Effectively Make The Best PB&J Sandwich You’ve Ever Tasted

Step 1:

Take out 2 slices of bread (any style).

Step 2:

Evenly spread Peanut Butter on both breads covering it from corner to corner.

Step 3:

Spoon about 1 Tsp of your favorite brand of Jelly (I like Smuckers™ Apple or Strawberry) onto each slice of the bread that already has the Peanut Butter spread on it.

Step 4:

Evenly spread Jelly on top of the Peanut Butter.

Step 5:

Close sandwich slices together with the Peanut Butter and Jelly on the inside, but make sure the sides are evenly met up with each other to form a perfect square.

Step 6:

LIGHTLY press down, being careful not to SMASH the newly-made sandwich, just enough to make the 2 slices sort of stick together.

Step 7:

Take a big Yummy bite.

Step 8:

Enjoy!!!!!

This is how I make the perfect PB&J.

The “ABCs” of Disposing That ABC Gum

We’ve all been there. You’re sitting at a desk or table in a public place, you accidentally reach under it for whatever reason, and EWWWW, there it is, that awful, dreaded Already Been Chewed wad of gum.

It’s yucky. It’s disgusting. It’s downright horrifying. Most of all, it’s unsanitary.

So, here are 3 tips on how to properly dispose of your gum. Feel free to pass on to others so they may also learn and not stick their gum in places where it doesn’t belong.

A. Grab a tissue, paper towel, a scrap of paper, any thing of the sort.

B. Wrap gum up in said wrapper with the gum on the inside of the wrapper completely covered.

C. Dispose of above-mentioned wrapped up piece of gum and throw in a trash receptacle and then go about your way.

That is how you properly dispose of “ABC” gum.

10 Things I Wish I Could Go Back And Tell My 16-Year-Old Self

Looking back on certain aspects of my life, now at the “wise old age” of 33, there are certainly some teenage dramas that I would like to forget ever happened and some that I wish I could re-live over and over again.

Here’s a list of 10 of the things that I would go back and tell my 16-year old self, if I had the chance.

  1. That pimple is only TEMPORARY.  It will go away soon enough and then it will be a thing of the past.
  2. The world will not end if my crush finds out I LIKE HIM.
  3. The world will also not end if my crush finds out I like him and HE DOES NOT LIKE ME BACK.
  4. Doing everything I can to BECOME ONE OF THE “POPULAR” KIDS will not matter in 10 years.
  5. WHAT OTHERS THINK OF ME is not as important as what I think of myself.
  6. NSYNCBACKSTREET BOYS, and NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK are still the best boy bands to ever walk the face of the earth!
  7. MY PARENTS really did have my best interest at heart and were not just “big meanies.
  8. The phrase, “I CAN’T WAIT TO BECOME AN ADULT AND MOVE OUT THIS HOUSE AT 18” is not as glamorous as it sounds.  With that, comes RESPONSIBILITIES and BILL PAYMENTS.”
  9. I cannot avoid my friends just because I HAVE A BOYFRIEND.
  10. Don’t be in such a hurry to GROW UP.  These days will pass all too fast.

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS?

So, as you know, I am new to this whole blogging concept, but, I’ve been reading up on and following fellow bloggers.  I think I’m ready to move into the next phase of this, but I can’t help but wonder… When adding pictures to your posts, how do you avoid copyright issues?  Where do the pictures come from?  Are any pictures out there on the internet fair game to use as I so please? How do I make my posts come alive with visual aids?

Hey you, yeah, you over there reading this?  Care to give me some feedback and/or advice on this subject matter? C’mon, help a girl out, would ya?

Random Thought!

What’s up, guys? I haven’t posted in a few days. Life has been keeping me busy. I’m on a bit of a time crunch so I can’t write a lot, but, just wanted to check in and say hello. I know my posts still aren’t that interesting, but stay following me. Like a fine wine, they could only get better with time. Lol.

So you want to start a blog …

Thanks for the wonderful information, @heatherblog. I am definitely a beginner blogger, so this helps me out a lot. 🙂

HeideBlog

Skip this post if you’re a seasoned blogger. But if you’re thinking of starting a blog — like my wise and witty friend Don — here are a few pointers.

“How do I start a blog?” “What should I name it?” “How can I get more subscribers?”

I always feel sheepish when someone asks such questions. I’m a self-taught blogger, you see, so I’m not an expert — and I’ve made lots of dumb mistakes.

But the other day it occurred to me: Maybe I can at least help others avoid the same mistakes?

I won’t cover the technical side of setting up a new blog (because if you choose WordPress, you can do it in three steps). But I’m happy to offer some things to consider before you even click “Get started.”

Before you start blogging

Create a blogplan. What is your purpose? Who is your audience? What…

About Me

Hi.  Welcome to my personal site, thelibradiva.com.  Here, I invite you to follow me on my journey to a world of self-discovery, while sharing my interests with you.  I created this page because I love to write and I’m always reading other blogs, so I thought “surely, I, too, can do this.”  So, here I am, a beginner blogger, just getting her feet wet into this new-age era.  Want a glimpse of who I am?  Of course you do.  Who is the girl behind THE LIBRA DIVA?  Well, I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls.  They are the reason that I live and breathe.  My husband of almost 12 years has been my rock and my best friend through everything.  I work full time in the banking industry.  While not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, watching movies, etc.  Most of all, I enjoy coming home to the smile on my daughters’ faces.  I love watching them grow, though, they surely are growing up too fast.  I grew up and still reside in a small town in Louisiana.  So, follow me as I become a more advanced blogger and continue to get to know The Libra Diva!  🙂
